Early Years Pupil Premium Funding
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is extra funding available for all early years providers that offer early years education for 3 and 4 year olds. It is well known that high quality early education can influence how well a child does at both primary and secondary school, so we do want to make the most of this additional funding.
The EYPP provides an extra 66p per hour for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. This means an extra £396 per year for each eligible child taking up the full funded entitlement for early education.
EYPP is only applied once a child becomes eligible for universal 15 hours childcare (i.e. the term after they are 3).
